Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tamar is a very loving and mellow cat who unfortunately tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). If you do your research on this test result you may find conflicting information about the longevity of cats with FIV as well as the controversy over their co-mingling with cats who are not positive for FIV. It is the belief of many rescue organizations (FUR included) that cats with FIV can live normal lives even in homes with other cats who are negative. If you would be interested in learning more about Tamar and what her test results mean for her, please email your questions to purr4fur@gmail.com.
Cats adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $75, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application.
