My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing the "Jungle Book pups" - these cuties arrived as a Stop the Cycle litter (mama has received a spay voucher so no more puppies, yay!)

This litter was born 2/17/16 and is filled with social, happy pups - you really can't go wrong with any of them! They are smart, playful, and affectionate. Baloo is a longhaired boy with beautiful white markings and a curly tail - maybe a little spitz or Karelian in the mix somewhere?

These pups should adapt to homes with other pets and/or children, and will do best as indoor family dogs as long as you give them something to occupy both their super intelligent minds and super active bodies. They could make good farm dogs, but are too social for an outdoor-only lifestyle - you'd find them scratching at the doors and windows trying to get inside where the rest of the "pack" (ie, the HUMANS) is hanging out.

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic (if fairly short - those legs are tiny) walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. These pups hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet. They will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty! We start all puppies on their vaccinations as soon as they arrive at the shelter (this litter will have had their first set of vaccinations prior to placement, with a booster about 1 week later and another 3-4 weeks after that; they will then need rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age).

Baloo comes with a 30-day money-back trial adoption period. We will closing the first round of applications for these pups no later than 5/1/16 and they will be ready to go home any time after 5/4/16.

Spay/neuter, worming, microchip and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption fee (suggested minimum $118; more gratefully accepted!)

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your payment to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
