My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiki and Cleo are a rather odd bonded pair, in search of a new home after their Mom was no longer able to care for them. Cleo, 6, is a blue and cream tortoiseshell cat, and Kiki, 7, is a tan Chihuahua. Kiki and Cleo are closely bonded. At the shelter, both became withdrawn and visibly upset when separated. When reunited, they offered each other comfort until being placed in a temporary foster home, where they are currently thriving. Kiki the Chihuahua is a silly, spunky, lovebug. It did not take long for her to adjust to her foster home and warm up to her foster family. Kiki loves to cuddle and just generally, be with her people. She is a smart, loving, playful little girl. Her previous owner reported that Kiki does well with cats and other dogs as well as strangers, is easy to handle for the vet, and very well potty-trained. Cleo is a sweet cuddle bug, who warmed up to her foster family quickly. She also loves to be with her people and get lots of lovins. She loves to be petted, and enjoys playing with her kitty toys and exploring the house. Her previous owner reported that she also does well at the vet, is well house-trained, and friendly in the home. Cleo has not been around other cats or dogs except Kiki, and is unused to children.
Kiki and Cleo both enjoy playing together. They gently nibble on each other and wrestle too. They nap and cuddle together, often. They are the sweetest of friends. This sweet, bonded pair is looking for a loving home in San Diego and are available through Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego. If you are interested in meeting them, please fill out an application found at www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you a call.
