Sassy (Spayed)'s Story...
"Sassy" is a beautiful 8-month old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on April 23, 2016. "Sassy" has a sleek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a very pretty face with large golden eyes, a black button nose, and long black whiskers. She is a frightened little girl at the moment (and who could blame her?) since she can't understand what she did wrong to lose her home or why she is now sitting in a cage by herself. Our kennel techs and volunteers will be giving "Sassy" extra TLC and doing their best to comfort her and let her know that she is loved. "Sassy" was given vaccinations and wormer on April 23, 2016. She was spayed on May 4, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. "Sassy" weighed 6 lbs. on that date. :"Sassy" was combo tested on December 27, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
