Blackie Evans only has 3 legs. Blackie was homeless and living on the streets when he was hit by a car while crossing a street to get to the backyard where he was being fed every day. Blackie was not yet a year old. It was necessary for a vet to remove his back right leg. Blackie spent several weeks recuperating in the hospital. Now Blackie is completely recovered and he can run as fast as any four-legged cat. But mostly Blackie wants to sit in the windows and watch the birds eating at the feeders.
Blackie is still skittish and can be hissy. It will take a while and some patience before he will become a lap cat. But Blackie loves other cats and kittens. If you think you would like to give this beautiful, young, black cat a home...please let us know.
Want to meet Blackie Evans? Just send an email inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org - one of our friendly volunteers will respond pretty darn quick. Because of his handicap, Blackie Evans comes to our Saturday adoption events in the Piscataway PetCo only by special appointment.
Blackie Evans is neutered - negative for fiv/felv - up to date on vaccinations.
