I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Found Just Over The Hill.
Kuda was born about December 12, 2011 and weighs about 75 lbs. He's a beauty with all that lush, thick, fur! You've got to be the home that doesn't mind dog fur everywhere and are willing to brush him regularly. Kuda was found just over the hill from us and, sadly, no one came to claim him. He did fine on the car ride here and was fine in a crate. He does well in the pack with the other dogs, but is questionable with cats. We don't feel a home with small children is appropriate. Most Chows are relatively calm and highly devoted to their humans, but aloof with strangers. He may need a little bit to acclimate to his new home and adore his new humans. Update: We need to mention that his previous owners did appear a little later and were unable to claim him. There was no documentation, but they felt his age would have made his year of birth 2006, our vet and we are struggling with that as our guess was much younger. Kuda does still play with toys! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $150.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
