Cooper was pulled from a high kill shelter as a young pup. He was originally adopted from PPR in April of 2016 and returned in the beginning of November. The family who adopted him did not have enough time to train him and unfortunately, during that time, he went deaf as well (a common trait for white pit bulls). Cooper is now about 1 year old. He is a total love bug and great with children and adults. He was previously living with a cat. Cooper is getting used to dogs via training. Cooper is currently enrolled in training and learning commands and manners, with use of signs, due to his deafness. He is really becoming a well-behaved dog. He would do best with an active family who can help with his training needs. As a puppy, he had cherry eye, a very minor issue with his eye lid, that was corrected at the time of neuter and will pose no further issue in life. He is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on shots.
