Hi – We are Maple and Ghost and we are still looking for our forever home! We were born on a farm in rural Maine and even though we were outside for the first 4 mos of our lives and not use to being around people we both have decided we love being indoors (and safe) and love being around people.
Ghost is a sweet, little on the timid side, gorgeous slightly cross-eyed boy (we think he’s got some Siamese in him and it gives him character!!) who also loves to be wherever you are but until he gets to know you will stay at arms length but will be purring up a storm! When he’s comfortable he’ll come around to be petted and loves a good butt rub!! He also likes to talk - chirps to himself when he’s playing, it’s the cutest thing!! and also loves to tell you about his day. He also loves other cats and kittens - and can play all day long!
We both love to sit in a window or by a screen door and watch the birds and chipmunks and we’re already great at getting the bugs that get in the house – they don’t last long on our watch!!
While we’d like to stay together, we could be adopted separately as long as Ghost goes to a house where there’s another cat or kitten. He loved to play with the kittens at our foster house and would play with them for hours. He needs the companionship of other cats - would prefer me but we think he’d be ok with a friendly someone new! Maple on the other hand would be fine being your one and only! She gets along with other cats but might quite like being the queen of the household.
We really want to find our forever homes so won’t you please give us a chance to show you just how adorable we are - and loving - you just have to be ready to give us a day to adjust to you and then it’ll be like we’ve been there all along!
