Raven is a new pup to our program! She is about 4 months old and is majority a Plott hound mix. Raven has no fears, and loves life. She is already best friends with her foster siblings and loved everyone she meets. Raven has good manners for a puppy and is doing great at going potty outside!
Here is a little bit about Raven from her foster dad:
"Hi! My name is Raven! My foster dad calls me Sweet baby Ray for short. He thinks I'll be a great hiking partner just like my foster sister, Desi. I think I'm a Boxer/ Plot Hound / Pit mix but Jerry Springer wouldn't let me on his show so I'm not really sure. Players for Pits saved me from a kill shelter in Oklahoma. My foster dad has only had me for a short time and has already taken me so many places to meet other dogs and people. So far, I'm very friendly and calm. I love to cuddle and give and receive affection. I'm a very good player- not too rough with any dogs.. I'm not very shy and I don't mind my crate at all. I am potty trained and haven't chewed anything in his house! I do get a little excited and jumpy but I'm working on that with my foster dad. He's also teaching me this thing called 'sit'. I don't know why? But I get a treat when I do it! I'm really good with commands on and off leash. I never wander far and always want to come back to dad when he calls. Overall everyone seems to love me and I love them too! I'd love to have a home of my own with other dogs or kids to play with.
