My name is Acacia!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Warren, Michigan - Acacia

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Acacia's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Acacia's Story...
They call me Acacia.

I was originally adopted out a few years ago and was surrendered back to PAAW because of a situation with my owner that prevented him from keeping me.

So, I am a little scared right now because of all the recent turmoil, and I just need a forever home to get me feeling back to my normal lovable self again.

My coat is a beautiful grey-brown color and is very soft. I am a lap cat and will purr you to sleep. I am a calm girl, and I like to be petted.

I need a home free of other pets and children.

My approximate birth date is 4/24/2013.

I am currently living in a foster home, but you can meet me at Petco Troy on the weekends.

If you would like to set up a meet and greet, please complete our online adoption evaluation form and ask for pet by name!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Acacia, a Warren Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warren, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
