Fanci Pants's Story...
NAME: Fanci Pants
BREED: Shepherd/Pit Mix
DOB: 12/2014
SEX: Female
HW Status: Negative

Meet sweet and beautiful Fanci Pants! She is approximately 1 year old. She was surrendered to a shelter at about 3 months old. She was pulled by a rescue just before her euthanasia date. She lived in boarding most of her life after that because there were no fosters available. Then, she came to our shelter! She has been through basic obedience training and has lifetime of training with Larry Benoit. She has already mastered so much! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention, and microchipped. Fanci would love to share a home with kids or kitties! She plays well with other dogs only in an outside setting, but really prefers to be around people and play fetch with her ball. This girl LOVES when you throw the ball with her and loves water! Won't you come by and see sweet Fanci Pants!? She's waiting to play (and go HOME) with YOU!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fanci Pants, a St. Francisville Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in St. Francisville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in St. Francisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Francisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Francisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Francisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
