MEGU's Story...
Hey ya wanna play fetch? Boy do I love that game or any game with a ball. I'm Megu and aren't I the feisty one? I'm a Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 7 years old. It's been a little difficult learning English since my former owner spoke to me in Japanese but I'm getting there. I started out here a little frightened and nervous around the people here trying to give me love and attention. I am doing so much better now and have developed trust and have bonded with several volunteers. I'm a handsome little guy who loves to go on walks as well. Don't worry, I'll let you know when I want to go on a walk because I'll be wagging my tail like there's no tomorrow! I even know some basic commands, and yes, in English because I love to get treats. I'd really love to be your only furbaby because that would make me feel much more comfortable. I'm up to date on all vaccines and neutered. So if you're looking for a fun little guy who loves to play fetch and go for walks, and are willing to be patient with me, then I'm definitely the one for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MEGU, a Cliffside Park Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Cliffside Park, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Cliffside Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cliffside Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cliffside Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cliffside Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
