Meet Buddy, Jr.!
Hi, I'm Buddy, Jr.! I just turned six this April. My previous owner was my best friend but he grew old and started forgetting to take care of me. So I'm in need of a new best friend! I'm nervous being without him, but I am so lovable I know I will find a new home soon.
I'm shy when first meeting new people, but once I feel comfortable around you I will never want to leave your side (especially if you have squeaky toys and tennis balls)! Until I came to my foster home, I'd never really been around other animals, and we've learned that I should be in a home without cats. My current favorite things: squeaky toys, belly rubs, and giving tons of kisses!
I love to play with his toys and have a lot of energy! I love going outside. However, if you're just sitting down, I am just as happy being near you. I'm a pretty quiet dog, and don't bark a lot. However, if you leave me alone too long, I might start to softly whine, letting you know how much I miss you!
I am potty-trained, though I might have a tiny accident when scared or excited. I do really well in a crate and already know the commands "Stay" and "Come here"!
Buddy Jr.’s adoption fee is $150 and he’s located in Milwaukee, WI. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
