Hi - My name is Butters. I am a calm, sweet, easygoing little guy. I am a little shy at first but even than will wag my tail and come over for pets. And when I get comfortable with you I will melt in your arms like butter when you carry me around or rub my belly. My foster mom says that is why my name Butters is perfect for me!
I am totally potty trained and can “hold it” for the whole day like 9 to 10 hours- it is pretty impressive. So if you work away from home, it is no problem. I am happy to hang out on your bed or couch and rest up so I am ready to enthusiastically greet you when you come home, follow you around wherever you go and generally do you what every you want to do
I get along with other considerate dogs and am happy to let them take the lead and follow along but at the same time won’t let them push me around. I have not been cat tested or been around young children so unsure on those fronts but most likely best with older, considerate kids.
I am pretty chill and not a high energy dog but will do short bouts of play with toys and happy to go for walks. I walk well on a leash and do not pull at all or bark at others even when my foster dog sister does. I love pets, belly-rubs and to be carried and cuddled but if you need to get up and do things I am fine with that too. I am happy just to be around you. I am pretty much a go with the flow kind of guy.
So if you are looking for a handsome, sweet little guy who is as easy-peasy as they come, I am the dog for you.
