We love Butters... he is very shy and timid and will need very patient home with another out going and playful pup to help bring him out of his shell. A home with older kids is recommended. Butters had a rough start, he ended up in the shelter, was adopted but then almost went back to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him...we stepped up and took him in. After a bit of monitoring, we noticed Butters' was a bit 'off' and after further tests, we discovered Butters had a liver shunt. He had the surgery and has been cleared for adoption but his forever home needs to to stay on top of monitoring his liver to make sure another shunt has not developed and keep him on a liver friendly diet and medications.
