Gertie( my term of endearment for her) was born 8-1-2013. The parents were both purebred pits. Gertrude weighs around 60 pounds. She is a short and stocky build. She loves people. Gertrude is excellent with other dogs but will be best matched with a large breed male. Pits do not match well with the same sex. Gertie is very affectionate and loves to share kisses. She is house trained and crate trained. She lead quietly on a loose leash. She has traveled with her foster Mom and Dad and spent quiet nights in motels while they were on the road.

We want her to go to a home with NO SMALL BREED dogs, no cats and no children under 12 years old. That is just our polices for the pits in our care and please don not ask us to make an exception!

Gertrude is current on shots, deworming, heartworm testing and she is spayed and microchipped.

We do require a pre screen application to apply. You can get that on our web site at
