Mia's Story...
MIA..... a darling 4 year old, 6lb female maltese we took into rescue. Her mom switched jobs which required a lot of travel, meaning that Mia and her weren't able to spend much time together. Mia's momma did the right thing for her. She wanted an awesome family that has tons of time to spend with her to play and give her the attention Mia deserves. Mia is protective of her humans, being a bit aggressive when other dogs come around. Nothing that can't be trained out of her. She should go to an experienced dog owner who will be able to keep her in check. πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– πŸ’– πŸ’– πŸ’–

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a San Diego Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
