Zeus is a 5 yr old Blue Dane. He came to MAGDRL when his family was moving overseas and couldn’t take him along. Zeus is a big sweet goofy boy who loves nothing better than a lot of attention. Zeus has not lived with other dogs before but does like to play socially with them (he is a “BIG” player – a timid dog may not appreciate his enthusiasm). He may be 5 but he has the energy level of a 2 year old! He would like to have a buddy to live with but that dog must be ok with his energy level. Zeus is a bit too interested in cats and likes to chase them so he will need to go to a home with no cats. He has lived with a toddler and adored her so he is very kid friendly. Just remember he is very energetic and BIG thus kids, tables, breakables are all “tale height”. Zeus has many more fun, active years to provide his forever home.

Zeus is a VERY PLAYFUL and YOUNG 5-year-old Dane. Zeus is very large and likes to play super rough. He needs a friend that will equally want to run, romp and frolic around the back yard. He is still all boy at this point. Although he has been neutered, we are still working on the healing process and finding him some manners.
Zeus lived with a little girl, he is very playful and big - but seems to be good with little people. Zeus will need some additional training and guidance when meeting and playing with friends. He is sometimes a little much for a mild or older dog. He loves to snuggle his head into your arms and play nudge.
He is an excellent, fun, big, playful 5-year-old Dane (nobody told him he was 5). What a wonderful personality – forever young and playful at heart!! For a good time – come meet Zeus!!

Zeus is FULL of energy and life. He is making HUGE improvements in his foster home. He is very gentle with little people and loves ALL humans. He is a HUGE cuddle bug. Will nudge and nudge until you pet him. Although Zeus has the activity level of a 2 yr old he is stubborn like a 5 yr old. He will need to go to a Dane savvy home as he is not for a first time Dane owner. As long as he is given structure and has a dominant member of the family to keep him in line he is fine. He knows all basic commands. He walks somewhat well on a leash. We will begin with the gentle leader this week. He is a good eater but not food motivated. He does like an occasional treat but Zeus is a “please your master” type of dog. He is large and strong and a joy to have around. Zeus is currently living with a male Boxer and 2 female Danes. He plays ROUGH but when told to “play nice” will catch himself and stop. He is vocal when playing but not vocal in the house at all. He is crate trained, housetrained and can be trusted to free roam when no one is home. He is working on some manners…like NOT pushing you out of the way to get out of the door first….but he is truly a sweet baby. He has a TON of life in him and will give a family a ton of love. He would do best in an active home and with a fur-sibling to play with. They must be able to handle large dog play. Mild/timid or older dogs may not enjoy his energy.
