Deljo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Deljo's Story...
Deljo is an absolutely adorable, affectionate, playful, snuggly and sweet, four-year-old, 11-pound, male fawn Chihuahua looking for a loving guardian.

This gentle soul gets along well with other dogs (not sure about cats). He’s also wonderful with people; he’s very snuggly. Because he’s a little shy, he’s recommended for families with teenagers and adults. He just loves to be pet.

Deljo is housebroken and crate-trained. He is very sensitive and bonds very quickly with those willing to show him some love.

He is healthy, neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting him, please fill in the online application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s.

Deljo is currently at the Famous Fido Rescue Headquarters at 3124 W. Irving Park Road (at Troy Street) in Chicago. Please call Gloria at 773-907-0305 to make an appointment to meet him and all the other wonderful dogs and cats at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deljo, a Chicago Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
