Hi there. My name is Hanson. I'm about 4 months old and I weigh about 25 lbs (I'm a bit thin).
I was found as a stray in the Rogers area and I was picked up by the pound.
I am a very sweet and loving puppy. I am looking for a family that will train me, take care of me and love me for the rest of my life. I also need to find a family that understands that I am still a puppy, so I will likely find a lot of different ways to get myself in trouble.
I am a playful little fellow. I love playing with people, toys and other dogs.
I am learning how to walk on a leash. I just need a little more work and I will do fine. I didn't know how to walk on a leash at all when I first came in, so I'm already learning fast!
I will likely still need to be obedience trained and housebroken. I do know how to sit for a treat, but that's about the only thing I know how to do so far.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
