Facts about Emily

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Emily is such a darling girl. She is a pretty grey and white short-haired kitty. We are not sure of her age, but she is not very young – she’s probably over six, but not by a lot. Emily does not put herself forward, but she is very sweet and loving. She is hoping that you’ll notice her, but she is shy and not real comfortable in a large crowd to other kitties, so she hangs back. When you approach her and pet her she is so grateful and appreciative and she purrs and gives you loving looks. She is pretty mellow, so if you are looking for a companion who will enjoy sitting with you for petting, Emily is your girl. She is FIV+, but that is no longer as contagious as once thought, so she can easily be mixed in with other cats. She is in good health, although due to some dental issues, had to have her teeth pulled. Now she is in no danger of future mouth issues and can eat anything, even without teeth. She eats well. She gets along okay with other kitties as long as they are not too aggressive and not a large number of them, so would be okay in a home with one or two others. She would also be fine as the only kitty in the home

When you find a companion that is perfect for you, we will ensure that your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and microchipped.

At Brigid's Crossing we take the time to care for the animals until they are safe in their new homes which we believe makes for a healthy and happy transition for all involved.

All of our animals are chipped, spay/neutered and up to date on current shots.
