Georgie's Story...
Hi! This is Bart and Georgie.
These beautiful, sweet kitties need a loving, responsible furever home with a person/people that they can call their very own. They are healthy, playful and very affectionate. Bart likes to be held and is a lap cat. Georgie loves to be petted and is always interested in the business of the day. They both like to stay close by and hang out with their people. They were rescued from outdoors. Now they are primarily indoor cats with limited access to the outdoors. They love to sit on the stoop and enjoy the fresh air. They are: Approx. 2 yrs. old, neutered/spayed, up to date on all vaccines, FIV/FeLeuk Negative, microchipped and litter trained. Their foster family is truly in love with them but their pet quota is full. It is only fair that these two have a family of their own. They are a wonderful pair and it would be nice to see them go to the same home. However, separate adoption is a possibility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgie, a Nashville Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
