Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet little boy is approx 4 years old and 10 lbs. He looks like a chi/doxie mix. When we rescued him from a local shelter they thought he might have been hit by a car or suffered some sort of trauma. There were no broken bones but he was very dehydrated. After some great TLC at our vets, he was back on his feet and seems to be back to normal. He had heart worms and was treated with the required set of injections, and is on a monthly preventative.d He is more of a people dog, but he gets along with the other dogs and will hang out with them in a doggie bed, but is not one for running and playing. He just hangs back and watches. He loves to sleep next to you on the bed and will roll over for belly rubs. He is just a charming little dog that will make a great companion for someone.
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
