Bayou's Story...
Hi there. My name is Bayou (pronounced bye-you) and I am a young (estimated to be have born the first of December 2015), male Catahoula mix puppy. I have the most beautiful ice blue eyes.

I recently arrived at Gail's Pets and have been making new friends, both two-legged and four-legged. I get along with everyone and I am a typical puppy who is full of energy and ready to run and play.

I am looking for a furrever family and I really hope that might be with you.

Bayou resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. The application, when completed and submitted, will be electronically sent to Gail’s email address.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bayou, a Oakland Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
