KB's Lone Wolf's Story...
KB's Lone Wolf just retired from a long racing career. Wolf has certainly figured out that a couch is for comfort. Now he has to figure out how to lay on it. He will be 5 years old on September 1. He has just moved into his foster home so we will post more pictures of him and more of his biography as we learn about him. What we do know is that he is living with 4 girls and loves them, 3 cats and gets along with them ( he even grooms the kitten), is laid back and is one gentle loving boy. Wolf walks well on the lead and is learning house manners quickly. If you would like to meet this good looking brindle or have additional questions please call Janet or Bob at 941 423-1568. His adoption fee of $250 covers his neuter, teeth cleaning, microchip and heartworm test. Please come meet Wolf he won't disappoint you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KB's Lone Wolf, a Sarasota Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Sarasota, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Sarasota.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sarasota already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sarasota breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sarasota paves the way for another one to be saved.
