My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet out girl...Kit..She is an Akita and is looking forward to having a family to call her own. She is spayed and utd on shots. She is around 4-5 years old and is absolutely a beauty. She is heart worm negative and is on heart worm prevention.
According to her foster:
She's great in the house, with other dogs and kids. Great on the leash, needs some command training (sit, stay). She is very smart and will need lots of attention.
Some of the down side is that she hates to be alone, mildly terrified of cats, panics in a storm. She can and will hurt herself to escape a fence or crate if she is afraid. She enjoys walks and must be walked.
She sleeps well in her crate at night (depending on the weather) and goes in without a problem.
She doesn't like a bath, but she's easy to handle, really doesn't like her feet or butt touched. She doesn't bite, even when upset.
She only barks appropriately. Believes herself to be a lap dog.
We are hoping that she can soon find her own family, she has been deprived of this for 5 years and it is time for her to know the love that can be shared to her and by her. if you are interested in giving this well deserved girl a forever home please go to our website:carolinahelpingpawsrescue.org and fill out an application and email back to us at carolinahelpingpawsrescue@gmail.com
Her adoption fee is $180.
