Alice - N's Story...
Introducing Alice. Alice is a friendly but shy girl who gets along well with other dogs and cats. She would do great with a family that can give her plenty of attention and positive reinforcement to help continue growing her confidence. She will truly blossom in time. As with many rescues, it's hard to determine her exact breed....maybe some shepherd? perhaps some basenji? Maybe some terrier? She's on the petite side at only 27 lbs. Her estimated year of birth is 2014. How wonderful it would be for Alice to have a home and family to call her own. If you are that special someone, please contact RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice - N, a Huntington Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
