Ginger is a sweet, female Shih Tzu mix (perhaps Yorkie?). She weighs 14 pounds, and since she was a stray, her actual age is unknown. But the vet thinks she is probably about 8 years old. Ginger gets along well with the other two small dogs in the foster home and she loves people. She gets excited and wags her tail when she hears children's voices, so perhaps she had children in her previous home.
There is little that is known about Ginger, and her foster parents get to know her. They are trying their best to figure out what would be the best type of home for her. She will go outside to potty, and they are keeping an eye on her to make sure that she is consistent in always going outdoors. With all of the STRMN dogs who are up for adoption, we will not consider homes where there are children who are less than eight years old. Please respect this restriction for the best of the dog and the family. Ginger is looking for a home where she will be the center of her family’s life and where they will be patient and enjoy discovering new things about her personality and helping her adjust to yet another new home.
Ginger is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm/flea/tick preventative. She will be having a complete dental on May 10th and will be available for adoption shortly after that. Her adoption fee is $220.00 plus $16.01 Minnesota sales tax for a total fee of $236.01. Her foster parents would like her adoptive home to be within 75 miles of the Twin Cities area.
