Benny's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Benny's Story...
Benny is a handsome tan and black male German Shepherd who is about 2.5 years old and who weighs 100 pounds. This large boy is happy and friendly. He gets along with other dogs but may play too strongly with small dogs. Benny loves to meet people and loves to play with toys. He needs a little time to get used to new surroundings. Due to his size he is looking for an experienced family to give him a forever home.

If you are interested in meeting Benny, please fill out our adoption questionnaire which you can find at http://www.scgsr.org/adoption/aq/.

Benny is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and comes with a collar, all included in the adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Walnut Creek German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
