Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Arlo and I'm a 31 lb. cuddly ball of Cocker Spaniel sweetness. Most of my fur is black but I have a few patches of white to spice things up. I heard people say I'm about 6 years old, but I'm playful as a puppy! I was wandering the streets of Chicago, had to put in some time at animal control, and then Adopt-a-Pet saved me! Whew! So glad - I couldn't be happier in my foster home!
My favorite things are hanging out with my foster peeps, long belly rubs, running in the yard, and chewing on a bone. I am not a big fan of the crate but I am house trained and trustworthy. My foster mom says I will need to learn how to walk nicely on leash. I also get very jealous when my foster family is eating and I do not understand why they won't share their food. I can't tell you yet if I'm friendly with other dogs - I've had to stay away from them because I'm getting over a cold. But I'm almost all better and will soon be able to interact with them. I am looking for the perfect patient humans who will teach me how to be an even better pet than I already am, run and play with me, and give me lots of attention and love. In exchange I will be your loyal companion and faithful friend for the rest of my life.
My adoption fee is $300 and it includes: vet exam, heartworm test (neg.), 3 core vaccinations (distemper, rabies and bordetella), routine deworming, flea control, heartworm prevention, dental cleaning, microchip and neuter.
