Hermione is one of three puppies we were able to take in from a surprise litter. Our "Hogwarts" litter was born around 20 Jan 2016 and this cute 5mo old pup is the last of our Hogwarts puppies! Her brothers, Potter and Weasley, are much loved in their forever homes, so now it is her turn!! Like the unflappable Hermione Granger, our little girl is smart and able to figure things out very quickly! She is a bit of a spider monkey and will keep you on your toes, laughing and marveling at her smarts. She is also a very unusual color, like a mesh of brown and black. She is great with other dogs, and will do fine a home with kids, and cats too! At five months old, she is at the great age of sleeping through the night (and, even better, holding it through the night...). Happy, active girl looking for a happy, active family! Plus, look at her EARS!! ;) HOW CUTE!!!!
We send our puppies out to their foster homes in pairs to continue proper dog etiquette and social skills on top of their foster families' guidance, structure and love. They are learning all about crate training, potty training, leash skills and basic manners, including sit. It will be on the new family to continue what we have started, as they are babies and still learning and will need time to adjust to their new family's schedule.
Hermione's adoption fee is $250. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.
ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT/INQUIRY BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications through our website will receive a response once approved. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 and do not consider an electric fence a form of confinement. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Thank you for your understanding!
