CharlieB's Story...
CharlieB (born approximately 3/21/12) hasn't had it so well in his life for the past few years. CharlieB was recently rescued from an overcrowding situation but has come a long way in the past few months. He has put on some weight, recently had his teeth cleaned, and acclimated to his new life of being loved and cared for. He can be vocal sometimes, but not for long and he may be shy but he will come out of his shell and be the best friend you're looking for. He's not even aware of how beautiful he is or how blue his eyes are which is a good thing because he may be conceited and demanding. But not CharlieB. He is mellow and sweet and would just love to camp out on your lap. Oh, and for extra bonding points, CharlieB LOVES being scratched on his belly. He seems to also enjoy being brushed. I'd say he just loves attention overall including some conversation. He takes his time in picking his buddies whether they be dog or cat and may be hissy at first but eventually will probably ignore the dog and play with his kitty friend. CharlieB would be equally happy just being an only kitty with a special spot in the sun.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CharlieB, a North Highlands Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
