Little Man's Story...
Little man is a 2 yr old chihuahua. This little cuddle bug is house broken and a pure pleasure to have around. He loves the other dogs in his foster home and gets along with all of them big and small. He is wonderful with older kids but is afraid of active young kids. He loves to snuggle bed with his foster mom so only affectionate people need apply. Little Man was adopted at the shelter in South Carolina but never neutered or protected against heart worms. When they brought him back because they were moving, he had heart worms. He has been treated now and is now in perfect health! This bundle of love only weighs 10 lbs but has 100 lbs of love to give. If you have room on your lap for this little man, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Full vetting and transport up north included in his $325 adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Man, a Westport Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Westport, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
