Delilah's Story...
Hello I am Delilah or "Big D". My world has been turned upside down, my Mom became too ill to take care of me and my son George so here we are at St. Francis. I have always been a very shy kitty but recently have decided treats from my foster Mom are really good! I like to be brushed on my terms. I have lived with other cats but no dogs or kids. I will need a peaceful quite home with lots of love and patience to draw me out. Would you take a look at George's profile too, he is my son and it would be really nice if we could be adopted together! See you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a Tampa Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
