Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Auggie is a beautiful black and white 4 year old Tibetan Spaniel who weighs 15 lbs. At first he seems like a scared, shy boy but once he gets to know you, he will jump into your lap for kisses and he warms up after a little while. Auggie was super excited to be out of the shelter. He showed no fears and smiled all the way home on his freedom ride and gave tons of kisses on the drive. He does fine with the other dogs and walks well on leash. We have received a report that he tried to bite while at the shelter but we do not know the circumstances. Out of an abundance of caution, we recommend no young kids at this time. He can be a little growly at times when his face is touched but at other times he is a kissing monster so we are giving him time to settle down and become more confident before we can really assess his personality. We do know that he loves to play fetch with a ball and he gets along well with other dogs. Auggie is an active dog and needs a lot of exercise. He is good with other dogs. If you want an affectionate, loving pup who will curl up on your lap while you watch movies, Auggie is the doggie for you. But don't be fooled by his calm demeanor. He loves to run, play, and is always excited to go on walks around the neighborhood.
Here is his fosters update on Auggie:
Auggie is a lover, not a fighter. He may bark a little when he meets someone new, but the second they pat his head, they're his new best friend. He'll chase his tail while upside down, lay on his back when he
wants to play, and loves to chew on toys (but knows better than to chew on anything else). He's already neutered, doesn't bite or bark at night, and is potty trained as long as he has access to the outside.
Auggie is a diamond in the rough and we have a hunch his loving personality will be shining brightly before long.
