Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miranda is a tiny five-pound, 11-year-old, affectionate, snuggly and sweet, female, front-declawed, golden-eyed, silver mackerel tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.
Miranda loves attention, being pet and eating treats. She’ll even fetch her favorite treats from across the room. Miranda’s mom passed away leaving her homeless. She’s not too fond of dogs, but she gets along with other mellow cats quite well!
She is talkative, gentle and incredibly good-natured. She’s even bats around her feather toys and catnip toys.
Miranda has perfect litter box habits. She is healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on rabies, bordatella and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped, as well as virus and fecal tested negative. She also had her blood-work tested and was found to be hyperthyroid, so she takes inexpensive daily medication ($6.00 a month at Costco), and her blood-work should be re-checked annually to make sure she’s receiving the proper dosage.
Miranda had a full dental cleaning and had an EKG done before she went under anesthesia to rule out heart disease. She didn’t even need any teeth pulled.
Miranda is currently living in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. Her adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets.
