Welcome Myrtle to America! She’s making the long journey from Doha, in the middle-eastern country of Qtar, to find her perfect forever home. Despite a rough start, Myrtle is a happy, healthy Saluki mix, the perfect family dog! She’s a year-and-a-half old, tall and leggy, and she loves every person, big or small, that she’s ever met! She’s a great running companion, but is also happy to be a couch potato. Since she is a sighthound, she likes to chase, so a cat-free household would be best, but she would do well with a canine sibling. A fully fenced yard is a must, as she’s fast as a racehorse, and will take off to parts unknown. She will need positive-based training to refine her house manners and learn to walk nicely on a leash. She’s a smart, beautiful girl who is eager to become part of a loving family. Could that be you?
