Pumpkin's Story...
Pumpkin is a beautiful orange tiger girl. She came to us as a kitten in 2012, and is a sweet lover. She wants to become a lap kitty, and have a forever, indoor loving home of her own. She will help you with chores, and loves to be wherever you are. She has a very laid back temperament, and will do well with other kitties and possibly a laid back dog. She will do well with children. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, tested, wormed and treated for fleas. We do require a veterinarian reference prior to an adoption appointment, and she must be an indoor only kitty. Her adoption fee is $50. Do you have room in your home for this faithful companion?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumpkin, a Ashland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
