Luki's Story...
Sweet Luki came to us after he was discovered by animal control. He'd either been abandoned or was a stray for a very long time. Luki was in critical condition and we weren't sure he'd make it but his will to survive (coupled with our amazing vet team) helped him overcome the odds. Luki stayed at the vet's office for a long time while he was healing and quickly became the staff favorite. His goofy personality, his expressive eyes and the fact that he loves everyone he meets is amazing considering his past. Luki is about 1 year old and around 30 pounds. He is almost fully housebroken and loves to play with other dogs (he's also fine with cats). Luki loves toys and is happy to snuggle up on the couch with you. He has the typical "Boxer" trait where he likes to "paw" at you! If you'd like to add this sweet boy to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out our online application. Luki is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luki, a Allentown Boxer/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Collie for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Boxer/Collie dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Collie breeders who help with Boxer/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
