Hutch's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hutch's Story...
Hutch came to us as a kitten in 2011. He is a soft, gorgeous, long hair, orange boy. He has the sweetest disposition, just wants to be loved, and can be cautious till he gets to know you. He will require daily brushing, but his coat is very light in texture, not thick like some long hair coats can be. He would adjust to a home with other cats, possibly a laid back dog, and older children. He wants to be a lap kitty if given time to adjust to his new environment. He has been neutered, tested, fully vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas. Do you have the patience to give Hutch a forever home?
We require a veterinarian reference prior to an adoption appointment, and he must be an indoor only kitty. His fee is $50.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hutch, a Ashland Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
