Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MATILDA is a sweet and gorgeous almost 2 year old Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer mix. She weighs 55 pounds. She was found lost on the streets of L.A., hiding in the bushes. Eldad Hagar of Hope for Paws, was able to catch her, apparently quite easily as she was starving!
Matilda immediately was affectionate and was kissing everyone at the vet office, where she was taken. We did manage to track down her owner but sadly, they felt they wanted us to find her a better home, as they had moved and felt she was not happy in their new situation. They relinquished Matilda to our foundation and we are so happy that we now have the opportunity to find her a wonderful forever home! Our trainer has assessed Matilda and said she is absolutely great with all people and other dogs. This is a calm, special girl who needs a special home. We do not adopt bully breeds to anyone who has not owned the breed, or a large dog breed.
Matilda can ONLY be adopted out as a family pet that lives indoors. Obviously having a yard for her to play in is great, but she may not be an outside dog. An athletic, active family would be ideal.
Matilda is spayed microchipped and current on vaccines.
