Maddie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Maddie's Story...
My former owner describes me as “very lovable & likes to cuddle”. That is pretty accurate if I do say so myself! My name is Maddie and I’m a 4 year old Black & Tan Coonhound gal. I was surrendered because I am uncomfortable with young kids, so I am looking for a forever home where I can BE the baby! I wouldn’t mind living with kids about 10yrs or older, they are usually quite fun to play with! I am very prey-driven towards cats, so no kitty-friends for me please. Living with another dog my size may be alright, but I don’t care for ALL dogs, so we’ll have to see if your current dog will be up to my “playmate standards”. I am an energetic, silly playful girl looking for a family I can call my own… forever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Menomonie Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Menomonie, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Menomonie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Menomonie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Menomonie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Menomonie paves the way for another one to be saved.
