I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kate's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Kate's Story...
Kate is a sweet and beautiful 5 year old Plott Hound/Lab mix who is ready for a loving home. She came to Planned Pethood with her 8 adorable puppies. Kate was a great mom to her "plus 8", and all of her pups have been adopted. Now Kate is looking forward to being someone's baby. She likes to play, but she also likes to relax and enjoy life as a dog. It can take Kate a little while to warm up, but once she does, she is a faithful friend. Kate is housetrained and can hold it for 8 hours at a time. She also does not need to be crated when you are gone. She's a well-behaved girl and will stay out of trouble (snoozing on the couch, of course) while her people are away. Kate likes other dogs, but she really needs a home with no cats. Kate is an accomplished jumper, so a 6 foot fence is required with her adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kate, a Toledo Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
