Emma's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Emma's Story...
Emma is 7 years old and was adopted from Camp Companion as a kitten. She was given up due to allergies in the family.

Emma loves to cuddle and hang around her family, but also loves to find a cozy spot in the house and sleep. Emma is more reserved and takes awhile to warm up to new people. She loves to sit in a comfortable place to look outside.

Emma is very sweet...right now, she loves to sleep with the child in her foster home and comes running to be petted whenever you are in the room. Although she was raised with another cat, she would also enjoy being the only cat and the center of attention.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
