Priscilla's Story...
Hi my name is Priscilla. I am 5 years old and weigh 4.5 pounds. I came to live with my foster parents in Tucson when my mom had to go into assisted living. I miss her but my new siblings are helping me to adjust. I had a huge fatty tumor on my hip but Dr Muller removed it. The staples have been removed and I am now ready for my forever home. My foster mom says I have to go to a home with no big dogs or little children because I am a very little girl. I have had all my shots, am spayed and have a chip. I am house trained and learning the doggie door. my adoption fee is $175.00 I will only be adopted to Arizona residents. Please email BJ ( for more information about Priscilla or visit

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Priscilla, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
