My name is Lindsey and I'm a cute little thing :) I have short stubby legs and I'm curious about everything. I came into ACCT Philly with my friend Logan. Logan was dropped on his head and had a seizure and it was REALLY scary and then the shelter person took Logan and left me in another cage it was really sad and Logan wasn't doing well at all! Thank goodness these two ladies from 2nd Chance came to the shelter for another dog and they saw how shut down Logan was and they asked what was going on and the shelter guy told them what happened. They said get Lindsey. I was so excited to see Logan and Logan looked like he was glad to see me and the ladies said NO ONE is splitting these two up! We will find a home that will love them together. I was sooooooooo happy! Logan didn't move much but my foster mommy took him to the doctor and the doctor did blood work and xrays and said Logan was ok he was just suffering from the trauma of being dropped and being in a scary place without me. Now we are together and we sleep together and everything its AWESOME! If you would like to give me and Logan a forever home we would LOVE to meet you! Please understand we do not adopt out to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.
A dog is a lifetime commitment. The dogs in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners :( We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the dog is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!
