Penny's Story...
Meet Penny, she is a 5 year old English Bulldog that was a breeder dog. She made someone a lot of money selling her puppies. When the decided to get out of that business they dropped her off at the county shelter. We ran down to Hillsborough county to pick her up and all the staff remarked about what a sweet tempered dog she is. As I was trying to get some pictures of her I got down on the ground and she would immediately come to me just wanting a hand to pet her. Penny you are a very special girl and we promise we will find you a loving forever home. If you would like to meet our girl please go to our website RescueADog.org under the forms tab download an adoption application and email it back to us at info@RescueADog.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Palm Harbor English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
