My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED!
Champ was with us for several months last year before being reclaimed by his owners. Unfortunately, his owners are no longer able to keep him so he has found his way back to the pound. Although the volunteers are thrilled to see him again, we are sad that it is under these circumstances. Champ is a true sweetheart even though his cropped ears make him look intimidating. He is good with kids and seems simply curious about other dogs. He is calm and super easy to walk on leash. Please help us find Champ an amazing home so he does not have to worry about returning to the Muskingum County Pound ever again!
Available for adoption at:
Muskingum County Dog Pound and Kennel
1500 Newark Rd
Zanesville, OH 43701
Open M-F 11-5 and Saturday 11-1. Please call ahead if you plan to visit. Adoption fee is $105 which includes spay/neuter, combo and rabies shots, Bordatella vaccine, heartworm test and dog tags.
Although some of the dogs come to the pound already altered, most do not. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed or neutered, the pound will set up an appointment for it to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the pound.
