Pending Adoption.
This three year old white shepherd was found clinging to the side of the 210 Freeway in S. California.. Poor Koda was found severely emaciated, lacerations on his legs and torn up paws. This poor dog was thrown out of a moving vehicle like a piece of garbage. Animal Control picked him up off the road and took him to a high kill shelter. He spent 21 days in ISO battling Pneumonia. Koda clearly came from a rejected and neglected past, at only three years old, but those days are behind him. Luckily he was taken from the shelter by some caring rescue ladies and nursed back to health, mentally and physically! He is currently being fostered and is thriving. Koda is now ready for a FUREVER home and family! Koda is a total teddy bear! He loves everyone and everything. He enjoys playing with his buddy, Echo a three legged shepherd in his foster home. (see video) He is very polite and respectful of the cats, as well as small children. Koda had some leftover abandonment issues (who can blame him!?) So a home with a stay at home person or someone that works from home would be ideal for him. He loves to go for leashed walks and is a very sweet and sensitive boy. Koda is neutered, up to date with vaccines, and microchipped. We are looking for a perfect fitting home to take Koda in as one of their beloved family members and give him the life he so deserves!
