My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chardonnay is a white 18 month old Terrier mix who weighs 19 lbs. She is one of several turned into the shelter by her owner because of too many dogs. She seems to be good with other dogs although a little afraid of bigger dogs. This poor kid came in with matted, dirty fur. She’s had a hard time of it and hasn’t been well cared for. Despite this she is gentle and sweet as sugar and obviously longing to trust and be loved. She is quite scared right now but we have seen her warm up gradually each day. She went pretty quickly from being afraid to be handled to wagging her tail when someone approached to pet her. She is not used to walking on leash but she is food motivated and so loving we have a hunch she’ll be very willing to learn. She appears to have no medical issues and is healthy and eager for her very own loving home.
