My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reese is a five month old Shar Pei mix pup. He is just the sweetest boy. Reese loves his foster family and all the pups that live with him. He is going to be a fairly large dog. He is currently 35 lbs and has large bones. Reese was rescued from a high kill shelter in Arkansas. Reese is working on his house training skills in his foster home and doing great. Reese is ready for a place to call HOME.

If you are interested in giving Reese a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322.

Reese's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough),flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transportation fee.

Reese is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new family once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast (NY, CT, PA, NJ, VT, ME). We use a twice monthly transport to the Milwaukee / Chicago areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
